LEADER PROGRAM

The Student Union and Organizational Governance, in collaboration with the Office of Student Involvement, is proud to support the CSUB LEADER Program.

The LEADER Program is designed to develop students’ leadership and professional skills, serve as a foundation for involvement in campus life, and promote retention, academic success, and graduation. The foundation of the LEADER Program is based on the Social Change Model of Leadership Development and California State University, Sacramento’s Leadership Initiative. The Social Change Model of Leadership Development encompasses three sets of values individuals build upon to become social change agents – individual values, group values, and societal/community values. Consistent with this model, the LEADER Program includes four achievement levels to complete in sequential order: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.

​All CSUB students are eligible to participate in the LEADER Program. Students should be motivated, open-minded, and ready to participate in learning, application, and self-reflective activities and programs.
