Pre-Recruitment Events are hosted prior to the start of recruitment events.
These informal mixers are designed to help interested students learn about the recruitment process.
Feel free to stop in at anytime during any / all of these events.

RECRUITMENT ROUND DESCRIPTIONS
To ensure students are able to participate in sorority recruitment events safely, all Panhellenic Recruitment Events will be held virtually.
​
Panhellenic Recruitment is conducted in rounds. Each round has slightly different expectations. Below is some information about each round. If you have additional questions or are unable to attend one or more event, please contact us!

Round 1 - Open House
(Tuesday, Aug 31)
This round gives you the opportunity to get a better understanding of each chapter.
Open House is open to any student who is interested in learning more about sorority life.
Students need to register and pay the $15 recruitment fee via myCSUB to participate.

Events will take place virtually during the open house round:
Event 1: 6:00pm-6:45pm
Event 2: 7:00pm-7:45pm
Event 3: 8:00pm-8:45pm
Each student will have the opportunity to meet each chapter once during this round.
Students should check-in by 5:30pm and can expect to conclude at 9:00pm.

Round 2 - Invitational
(Wednesday, Sept 1)
This round will provide a deeper look into each organization.
This round is invitation only.
​
Events will begin with check-in at 5:30pm.
Students may participate in up to 3 chapter events for the evening depending on the invitations they receive.
Each event is 45 minutes (with a 15 minute break in-between).

Round 3 - Second Invitational
(Thursday, Sept 2)
During this round, sorority members will explain to you what their experience has meant to them
and what membership can offer you.
This is the last round of recruitment, invitation only, and tends to be the most formal.
​
Events will begin with check-in at 5:30pm.
Students may participate in up to 2 chapter events for the evening depending on the invitations they receive.
Each event is 60 minutes (with a 30 minute break in-between).

Bid Day!!
(Friday, Sept 3)
Bid Day is an all-sorority celebration of new students joining the sorority community.
It is a time to meet more sorority students in the organization and in your new member class.
​
Bids, or invitations to join a sorority, will be distributed beginning at 12:00pm.
Bids will include information regarding Bid Day celebration activities for the chapter the student is invited to join.
